Youth Circle at Al Falah Islamic Center Kitchener

Assalamu Alaikum.

Al Falah Islamic Center Kitchener & ICNA CKW are announcing a special youth program for boys with a focus on community and deen.

InShaAllah we will be doing monthly online and in-person Youth Circle, featuring ‘Quranic Prophet Stories’.

We encourage boys, grade 5 and above to join our online Discord channel for fun group activities and Youth Circle Every 4th Friday of the Month, starting August 27th, InShaAllah.

Also Join our in-person session for Sport+Food+Halaqa on every 2nd Friday of the Month, starting 10th September, InShaAllah. The in-person event will be organized by the center volunteers who are all local to KW region and currently pursuing undergraduate studies in local universities. The event will run from 5:30p till Maghrib Prayer. Parents can drop-off their kids at 5:30pm on event dates at the Al Falah Islamic Center, and pick them up after Maghrib prayers.

Eid al-Adha & Dhu’l-Hijjah 2021

Assalamu Alaikom

AlFalah Islamic Center Kitchener is following Arafah date and is announcing 1st Dhuʻl-Hijjah to be on Sunday, 11th July, 2021. Arafah will inShaAllah be on Monday, 19th July, 2021; Fasting on day of Arafah is Mustahabb (recommended). Eid al-Adha will InShaAllah be celibrated on Tuesday, 20th July, 2021.

Please stay tuned for Eid al-Adha prayer announcement, and keep the ummah in your prayers in these blessed 10 days.

New Isha & Taravih Announcement due to Latest Provincial Restrictions

Ontario goverent has made the stay at home rules stricter and its duration longer. Until May 20, any masjid can now have congregation of a maximum of 10 people.

Accordingly, to ensure maximum participation at Isha and Tarawih, we have arranged Three Isha jamahs followed by Tarawih prayers. The first session will have eight rakah, and the next two sessions each will have six rakah Tarawih. There will be 45 minutes gap between sessions.

For Monday 19-April-2021, the first iqmah will be at 9:45 pm, second at 10:30pm, and third at 11:15pm

Please maintain social distancing and wear masks at all times. If you arrive early for any prayer, please remain in your car until your time to enter. And please leave the center premises immediately after you exit the center.

Your cooperation will help continue the center operation without any interruption in- sha-Allah
